When Dana Mauk, owner of The Magic of Maui Experience, arrived on the island, she immediately fell in love with the beauty, culture and people of Maui. She shares with others all of the special places she has been shown by the locals here. Dana creates experiences where people can relax and enjoy an intimate relationship with the island…all in one day. Her passion and energy is infectious and there is no shortage of fun when you are with her. We invite you to join in on this epic journey of a lifetime.

Nicole

Nicole is a passionate and enthusiastic road to Hana tour guide. With a deep love for the island, she is dedicated to sharing its beauty and wonders with her guests. Her warm and nurturing nature, combined with her zest for life, makes her the perfect host for an unforgettable journey on the Road to Hana.

Aloha Leah! 

Nature enthusiast, artist, and adventure guide. When she’s not sharing the wonders of Maui with visitors, you might find her barefoot on Baldwin Beach or chasing hidden waterfalls. Growing up in a small Minnesota town, Leah always felt a deep connection to nature, a pull that eventually led her to paradise.

With 8 years of henna artistry under her belt, Leah brings a creative touch to her tours. She loves getting to know her guests, their passions, and the experiences they hope to take home. For younger adventurers, Leah is a pro at educating and keeping them engaged!

She believes in the power of nature to inspire and rejuvenate and hopes every guest leaves her tours with a deeper sense of peace and a heart brimming with creative energy.

With 10 years of experience as a nanny, she’s a natural with kids and ensures every guest has a blast exploring Maui! Leah‘s mantra? Follow your heart’s passions! We couldn’t agree more. 

Yvonne

Yvonne isn’t your typical tour guide; she’s an explorer at heart. Ever since she swapped the rolling hills of Pennsylvania for Maui’s volcanic majesty, her days have been filled with adventure. Whether it’s sunrise strolls along the shore, hiking, or snorkeling vibrant reefs, Yvonne thrives in the embrace of nature. Her passion for Maui extends far beyond the breathtaking landscapes. A lifelong learner, Yvonne delves deep into the island’s rich history, eager to share its captivating stories with visitors. Her infectious enthusiasm for the island is fueled by a genuine desire to connect with people and create a positive impact on both visitors and the environment. Yvonne‘s adventurous spirit isn’t confined to Maui. Camping, hiking, and exploring new destinations have been woven into the fabric of her life. This thirst for discovery allows her to craft unique experiences for her guests, weaving together hidden gems and local insights into every Road to Hana tour.

Ryan

Meet Ryan, Your Road to Hana Adventure Buddy! Ryan isn’t just your guide, he’s your Maui BFF for the day. With a playful spirit that’s contagious, Ryan will have you smiling from the moment you meet him. Born and raised on Maui, Ryan’s knowledge of the island runs deep. His grandfather, a local legend who lived in a cave on Koki beach in Hana, instilled in him a deep love for the land and its rich history. Ryan loves sharing these stories and hidden gems with visitors, turning your Road to Hana trip from a scenic drive into an unforgettable experience. But Ryan’s not all talk! This self-proclaimed “adventure guy” is always up for a challenge. Whether it’s snorkeling in crystal-clear waters, playing beach frisbee, or jumping off waterfalls, Ryan will encourage you to step outside your comfort zone and create memories that will last a lifetime. Fun fact: Ryan’s a whiz at climbing coconut trees and whipping up delicious treats from his harvest! When Ryan isn’t leading tours, you’ll find him living the island life cliffside, caretaking a beautiful property called “The Spirit of Aloha.” Here, he offers private tours and fosters a deep connection with the land.
