She brought us to black sand beaches, a red sand beach, to a lava tube, great lookouts, turtles and much more. I was extremely comfortable with her driving, which was the most important factor for us since Hāna Highway is a very narrow twisty road. Due to the rain, we decided not to stop and swim in the waterfalls but Stacey pivoted and brought us to a beautiful trail in another area in Maui which was also fantastic!Gabi J2024-08-19The best experience we could have in Maui! The Magic of Maui Experience was the best tour we could have chosen in Maui! First of all: it was our first trip to Hawaii and we only had 2 days in Maui, so it was very difficult to chose the perfect tours with so many options! So, since the beginning, Dana was the best. She talked to me by phone to understand our family's travel profile and suggested very nice places and tours that totally fit to what we were looking for! The, our tour guide, Yvonne, was amazing! She is a really nice person and you can feel her passion to Hawaii, which makes so easy so get in love with this special place too. Our guide Nicole knew all of the secret waterfalls, and we were so surprised to have them all to ourselves. This was way more than a tour; it was an experience of a lifetime that we were all so lucky to have found. She took us to a secret spot where the Hawaiian sea turtles come to rest on the beach and we were the only ones there. We got VIP access at Aunty Sandys banana bread while everyone else was waiting in a huge line in the hot sun. We felt like royalty as everywhere we went Nicole knew everyone and the people of Hana love her. Today was nothing short of phenomenal and we now have a friend here on Maui. Ryan was our tour guide for the day. He was very patient and encouraging with our teenage girls, especially when it came to jumping off waterfalls. Thanks Ryan!Michael T2024-08-07Our guide Yvonne was the best! Yvonne was a great guide on the road to Hana for our family of 5 (our son, daughter, and niece - all college age). She was extremely personable, informative, and entertaining along the whole trip. We had a blast hiking through the bamboo forest, lava tubes, visiting various beaches and swimming in one in Hana, visiting local food and snack stops along the way, and jumping off a waterfall and swimming in a couple of the pools on the way back. We always felt safe and the trip is just breathtaking. And the trip would not have been nearly as informative and fun without our amazing guides, Leah and Eli! They are the best! Road to Hana is amazing by itself but this tour removed the stress and allowed the entire family to enjoy the beautiful views.Jeffrey D2024-07-20The limousine of Hana with a personal photographer!📸 The skinny: If you want to enjoy yourself, not have to worry about driving, want to go to the places that natives stop at that are not near as crowded, and (the best part in my opinion) have a personal photographer to catch every part of your adventure so you can actually be present, then book it now! So worth it! The book 🤣 My husband and I went on this tour just the two of us, Yvonne was our tour guide, she was so friendly, laid back, and personable. There were no awkward moments with her and she made us feel very welcomed and at ease. She was very knowledgeable about the island and we learned so much during the car ride. The tour was really about us and what we wanted to see/do, we set the pace and never felt rushed, we decided how long we wanted to stay at each location, and what level of difficulty we wanted to hike. We went into a cave, went to black rock beach, saw Oprah’s guest house, toured a chocolate making place, got famous banana bread (our guide called before hand and had them save us some) it was warm 😋. We swam in two private swimming holes that weren’t crowded at all, both had water falls, and we swam under the water falls. We hiked many trails to see neat trees and plants on the island. We got very close to some sea turtles. Nothing was crowded and I loved that! The van was great to sight see out of during the ride. It was stocked with anything you could need- first aid, hiking sticks, rain gear, sunscreen, towels, tons of snacks, and tons of drinks! This is the best worry free way to experience Hana, instead of having to drive and worrying about people tailgaiting you while you try to enjoy the beauty of the scenery, you can sit back and relax knowing that your guide knows these roads and is used to the traffic. Not one time did Yvonne seem stressed out while driving. Even better, you really don’t need to pack hardly anything- a bathing suit if you want, a change of clothes if you want, sunglasses if you want, and money if you want to buy things from the locals (handmade items in some places, banana bread, chocolate, lunch, etc.) It was an experience we will never forget!
